Purchase of the RoboGait Robot

The delivery of this stationary lower-limb rehabilitation robot was part of the project titled: “Gait re-education in patients with neurological conditions and orthopedic complications.”

The project is financed by the state budget through a target grant under the program:
“Support for the development of innovative solutions for providing healthcare services through the equipment of medical facilities with robotic rehabilitation devices, funded by the Therapeutic and Innovative Subfund of the Medical Fund.”

Funding amount: PLN 1,800,000

Total project cost: PLN 1,799,999.93

The project supports gait therapy for patients with neurological or orthopedic complications by using a stationary lower-limb rehabilitation robot. The primary goal of therapy with this device is to restore and develop walking ability in patients who have lost it. The main treated conditions include: stroke, brain injuries, hip joint endoprosthesis, degenerative joint diseases of the lower limbs, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, other orthopedic and neurological disorders related to impaired or lost walking ability.
