Peace, History and Effective Spa Therapy

MIKOŁAJ Sanatorium is a quiet, intimate facility surrounded by greenery, just a few steps from the Spa Park. It’s the perfect place for those seeking rest away from the hustle of the city. The building dates back to 1835 – it was established thanks to the support of Tsar Nicholas’ Foundation and the local community, as a hospital for the poor, designed by Jakub Gay. The current courtyard-style architecture is the result of multi-stage modernization efforts.

The facility offers comfortable single, double, and multi-bed rooms with bathrooms. In total, “MIKOŁAJ” accommodates 108 guests, including 11 spots for full-paying patients. Each room is equipped with a TV, radio, telephone, kettle, refrigerator, and wireless internet access. Guests also have access to a dining room and a paid parking lot.

Wide Range of Treatments

Available therapies include: sulfur baths, sulfur sitz baths, brine and dry carbonic acid baths, massages (classic, whirlpool, vibration), inhalations, hydro-jet, hydromassage, pearl baths, and physical therapy treatments: diadynamic, TENS, Träbert, interferential currents, Sollux lamp, Bioptron, Magnetronic, ultrasound, MRS, laser therapy, galvanization, iontophoresis, and local cryotherapy.

Patients are cared for by an experienced team of doctors and nurses.
