Buskie Uzdrowisko Foundation


Established by “Uzdrowisko Busko-Zdrój” S.A., the Foundation will operate a Vocational Activity Centre (ZAZ). It’s an opportunity for professional activation, rehabilitation, and financial independence for people with disabilities. Within the ZAZ, several workshops will be created: culinary, cleaning services, handicrafts, as well as rehabilitation offices.

The ZAZ will employ 30 people with significant or moderate disabilities and 12 support staff. The Centre – the first of its kind in Poland – will operate a sanatorium and a restaurant located in Willa Bagatela in Busko-Zdrój.

A reconstruction project of the facility is currently being prepared. Bagatela will feature 20 double rooms for health resort guests, a kitchen, café, restaurant, laundry, and doctors’ and rehabilitation offices, serving both the health resort guests and the ZAZ employees.

  14. Supporting the elderly and retired persons,
  15. Culture, art, protection of cultural goods and national heritage,
  16. Physical culture and sports,
  17. Ecology, environmental and animal protection,
  18. Tourism and sightseeing,
  19. Supporting European integration and fostering international cooperation,
  20. Promoting and supporting volunteerism,
  21. Preventing addictions and social pathologies,
  22. Organizing recreational activities throughout the year,
  23. Providing social and health services to local communities and other individuals or entities,
  24. Vocational and social rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
